What types of tea does Leaf Luxe offer?
Leaf Luxe offers a premium selection of teas across multiple categories including Green Tea, Black Tea, Herbal Tisanes (caffeine-free), Iced Tea blends, traditional Chai, and unique Blended Flavored teas. Our collection includes everything from single-origin classics to innovative blends crafted for the discerning tea connoisseur.
Are your teas organic?
Several of our teas are certified organic, including our Doke Green Diamond, English Breakfast Organic, and Selim Hill FTGFOP1 CL. These products are clearly labeled as "Organic" on their product pages. While not all of our teas carry organic certification, we carefully select suppliers who follow sustainable and responsible farming practices.
How should I store my tea?
For optimal freshness, store your teas in their original airtight packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, strong odors, humidity, and heat. Once opened, ensure the package is tightly sealed after each use. For best flavor, consume loose leaf teas within 6-12 months of purchase, though properly stored teas will remain safe to drink beyond this timeframe.
What is the caffeine content in your teas?
Caffeine content varies by tea type:
- Black teas: Moderate to high caffeine (40-70mg per cup)
- Green teas: Low to moderate caffeine (25-45mg per cup)
- Herbal tisanes: Naturally caffeine-free
- Chai blends: Moderate caffeine (30-50mg per cup)
- Flavored blends: Varies based on the tea base

What's the difference between tea and tisane?
Tea technically refers only to beverages made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant (black, green, white, oolong, and pu-erh). Tisanes, often called herbal teas, are infusions made from herbs, flowers, roots, fruits, or other plant materials and contain no actual tea leaves. Tisanes are naturally caffeine-free, while true teas contain varying levels of caffeine.
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
What's the best way to brew loose leaf tea?
For most loose-leaf teas:
- Heat fresh, filtered water to the appropriate temperature for your tea type
- Use approximately 2-2.5 grams (about 1 teaspoon) of tea per 8 oz (240ml) of water
- Steep for the recommended time (varies by tea type)
- Strain and enjoy

What water temperature should I use?
Optimal water temperatures vary by tea type:
- Black teas: 90-100°C (194-212°F) - just boiled
- Green teas: 70-80°C (160-175°F) - allow boiled water to cool
- Herbal tisanes: 100°C (212°F) - fully boiled
- White teas: 70-80°C (160-175°F) - allow boiled water to cool
- Oolong teas: 85-90°C (185-194°F) - just under boiling

Can your teas be re-steeped?
Many of our high-quality teas can be steeped multiple times, particularly our green teas and some premium black teas. For subsequent steepings, increase the steeping time by 30-60 seconds. The number of possible infusions varies by tea type and quality, with some premium teas offering enjoyable flavors for 3+ infusions.
What tea accessories do you recommend?

How long will it take to receive my order?
Domestic orders (within India) typically arrive in 3-7 business days, depending on your selected shipping method and location. Standard shipping takes 3-5 business days, while Express shipping delivers in 1-3 business days. Same-day delivery is available in Pune (within a 20km radius). Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free standard shipping on all domestic orders over ₹999. This applies to deliveries throughout India. International orders and domestic orders below this threshold incur shipping charges based on destination and shipping method selected.
Can I track my order?
Absolutely. Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information. You can also track your order by logging into your account on our website or by contacting our customer service team with your order number.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to many international destinations. Shipping costs and delivery timeframes vary by region. What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, please contact our customer service team within 48 hours of delivery. Include photos of the damaged packaging and products. We'll promptly arrange for a replacement or refund, depending on your preference and product availability.

We accept returns of unopened, unused products within 7 days of delivery. Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns of opened tea packages for health and safety reasons. Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for complete details on the return process.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders can be cancelled prior to shipping without penalty. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled, but you may refuse delivery or return unopened items according to our return policy.
